Established in 2010, the Unified Communications Interoperability Forum (UCI Forum) is a non-profit alliance of vendors committed to assuring a quality UC experience. We are fortifying interoperability and defining best-practices that remove the barriers to widespread adoption.
Our goal is to improve interoperability among UC products and services. Multiple analysts in the unified communications market have pointed to the need for cross-vendor interoperability to move the UC market forward. The UCI Forum builds upon existing standards and technologies to ensure that any new guidelines developed are truly standards-based. We are committed to this effort because we believe inter-vendor collaboration based on open standards is the way to drive interoperability and bring the dream of true unified communications to fruition.
The UCI Forum brings unified communications hardware and software solutions providers, service providers and network operators together into one global ecosystem. UCI Forum members collaborate to ensure products and solutions from different manufacturers and service providers work together seamlessly, enabling businesses greater choice and flexibility when deploying UC and a much better end-user experience.
